Termination dates: how the cantons differ
Anyone giving notice on a flat, or taking one over, is bound by customary local termination dates. Those dates are not the same across the three cantons, and that governs when demand peaks during the year.

Every month end except 31 December is a customary termination date. Handovers are therefore spread across the whole year.
