In canton Schwyz every month end is a customary termination date apart from 31 December. In canton Zurich only 31 March, 30 June and 30 September apply, and canton Aargau uses the same three dates. Demand in the Zurich Oberland and in Aargau therefore clusters into three waves a year, and booking early matters considerably more there. For canton St. Gallen no single customary date is documented, so there the tenancy agreement governs.
