If you move yourself and then look for a cleaning company, you coordinate two dates and carry the risk in between. We do both and take on the handover.

In canton Schwyz every month end is a customary termination date apart from 31 December. In canton Zurich only 31 March, 30 June and 30 September apply. Demand in the Zurich Oberland therefore clusters into three waves a year, and booking early matters considerably more there. For canton St. Gallen no single customary date is documented, so there the tenancy agreement governs.
