AFA Umzug, Reinigung & Hauswartung

Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or get in touch with us, and what rights you have in connection with that.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Who is responsible

The party responsible for processing personal data on this website is Genti Sopi, trading as AFA Umzug, Reinigung & Hauswartung, Adlerstrasse 4, 8854 Siebnen, Switzerland. For any question about data protection, write to info@afamultiservice.ch or call 076 765 11 32.

2. Which law applies

This policy is written for the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1 September 2023.

If you are visiting from the European Union or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply in addition. Where that is the case, the information below applies to the GDPR in the same way.

3. What we collect

Server log files: when you open this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data, namely your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This information is used only to keep the site running securely and reliably.

Contact and quote form: if you fill in the contact or quote form, we process what you enter there, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, your message, and any photos you attach to describe the job. It is sent by email to info@afamultiservice.ch, technically routed through the mail server of our hosting provider, Infomaniak.

Spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA: the contact and quote forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v2 ("I am not a robot"). When you submit a form, the service checks whether the input comes from a human and transmits technical data to Google LLC for that purpose, namely your IP address, information about your browser and operating system, and how you interact with the form page. We use reCAPTCHA to fend off automated abuse and spam submissions; this constitutes our overriding legitimate interest. You can find more information in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Analytics: with your explicit consent, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Until you consent, these tools stay inactive and no related cookies are set. This is enforced through Google Consent Mode v2: by default, consent is set to denied, so no data that could identify you reaches Google unless and until you agree. You can change your choice at any time through the banner at the bottom of the page; we store your choice locally in your browser.

4. Why we process it

We process your data to keep this website secure and working, to handle enquiries submitted through the contact and quote form and reply to them, and, only where you have consented, to measure how the site is used so that we can improve it.

5. How long we keep it

Server log files are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised automatically.

Data from the contact and quote form is kept as long as it takes to handle your enquiry. If it turns into a job, we keep the related correspondence and records for ten years, as required for business records under the Swiss Code of Obligations. If it does not turn into a job, we delete the data once we no longer need it.

Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.

6. Who else sees it

We only share personal data where it is necessary to run this website or handle your enquiry:

  • Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva: our hosting provider stores this website and its server logs, and sends the emails generated by the contact and quote form through its own mail server.
  • Google LLC: checks on our behalf, via reCAPTCHA, whether form submissions come from humans. If you have additionally consented to analytics, Google also processes the resulting usage data for us as our processor.

7. Data sent abroad

The servers hosting this website belong to Infomaniak in Geneva, so the data from hosting and the contact form stays in Switzerland.

When Google reCAPTCHA runs on the contact and quote forms, and, if you have consented to analytics, when usage data is collected, data is transferred to Google LLC in the United States. We rely on the safeguards Google commits to in its data processing terms. Google states that it is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally offers the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Both are intended to provide a level of protection equivalent to what Article 16 FADP requires.

8. Your rights

Under the FADP you have the right, among others, to:

  • ask whether and what data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data deleted, unless we are required by law to keep it
  • receive your data in a common electronic format or have it transferred to a party you name
  • object to processing, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future

9. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@afamultiservice.ch. We may ask you to confirm your identity so we can be sure we are dealing with you.

10. Keeping your data secure

We protect this website with an encrypted connection (TLS/HTTPS) and limit access to your data to people who need it to handle your enquiry. Even so, no transmission over the internet can ever be completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the website or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the time of your visit is the one that applies.
